Today Madeline had her pre-Kindergarten haircut at Snip-its! What a darling shop! I had never even heard of such a place. The girls loved it.
Madeline had about 3 inches taken off and had some long layers added to help her curl.
Isn’t it just the cutest place? They cater to kids who don’t like to get their haircuts, I’m guessing……my girls don’t mind it, thankfully….
Marcella just had a bang trim…I’m not about to touch those curls!
They “fix” their hair with little clips at the end….
and I couldn’t resist letting Madeline have a mini-manicure….her very first ever!! (not counting the ones I give her). She chose purple polish with tiny little stickers. So cute and little girly….. :-)

At the end they get to put their card into a machine and out pops a prize…in our case, both girls got pearls…faux, of course! hahaha.

back-to-school-special kind of cut!

When I was a kid I loved all the back-to-school rituals, and now I love doing them with my girls, too. Isn't it wonderful to be a mommy of daughters??
