We had a blast at Madeline's last day of school! I had fun being the room mom this year~~ busy, busy! Madeline's teacher had a little awards ceremony. She received the "Sweetheart Award" (they were candy-based awards!) Well, she is a little sweetie to me!
She also received the "Best Writer" award! Soooo proud of her! Her writing and reading skills soared this year. She really loves reading, especially. All those years of reading to her a million times a day has paid off!

The Class
Our last party was called Around the World. For our class I chose " South America". At our class station we had a pinata for each of the 8 classes and tiny maracas for the kids to take home. The children loved going to each continent for fun and games!!!
Water squirters, popcorn and snow cones....what else could kids want?
It was a wonderful year....wonder what first grade will be like??? :-)
