Oh my! Can you even believe how she has grown? Precious. Madeline woke up this morning and said “I am just so JOYFUL!” It made me so happy that she was excited. I have prepared her and she is ready. She has flown the coup! 
Miss Marcella wanted to be in the pictures, too. She is enjoying the stroller rides to and from school. She asked for Sissy first thing when she woke up from her nap, though…..missing her a bit!
We walked her to school today I loved it! I feel so blessed to live close to the school. The traffic was horrid but we just popped over. I really enjoy coming outside and enjoying the beautiful morning sunshine! It will be even nicer when it cools down. Something about not driving…I love it! We clocked the trip at 7 minutes! I know we are saving for our house but I am not moving until we live close to school again! It is just that great. :-)

A quick goodbye and we were off! We picked her up at 3:00 and she was so happy! She had a great day! One of the first things she told me was that she didn’t like how some kids kept disturbing class and getting in a lot of trouble. She said it was keeping her from learning! Hahaha. I told her it would take a few days for everyone to calm down. I hope, anyway!!!
I made Madeline this pencil cake and she thought it was so special. I am going to do this every year as a back-to-school tradition. I also made her favorite dinner and she was asleep by 7:00. So glad I kept her at a decent bedtime this summer….no alarm clocks or crankiness for us!! :-) I’m hoping we have a great year~I am going to be a room mom, so that should be fun to get a little peek into her day, too!
