Simple Woman’s Daybook ~ April 27, 2009

For Today, April 27, 2009...

Outside my window... STORMS…..love it! Every time the thunder rolls Marcella says “Woohhhh” So cute.

I am thinking... about the week. My Aunt Ann passed away on Friday and the funeral is tomorrow. Al’s Uncle Charlie passed away yesterday. Sad times. As we get older we start to lose our loved ones. I’m so glad new babies are born…it completes the cycle of life, I suppose.

I am thankful for... the new glass storm door that Al installed yesterday on our front door. It lets in an incredible amount of sunshine to an otherwise darker area. I love it! Of course, it isn’t sunny today, but it still looks great! When I walk by, though, I still think someone left the door open!

From the kitchen... a batch of my Aunt Dodie’s peanut butter cookies. The cookie jar is sad this morning!

I am wearing... black knit capri’s and short sleeve green shirt. comfy!

I am reading... my book for our new bible study….Me, Myself & Lies.

I am hoping... that my babies stay well and we can put all these breathing medications away!

I am creating...just getting ready for a scrapbooking retreat in June. Buying stuff, organizing photos and pages….finally going to knock out 2006~ I am excited about scrapping our time in PA. We did so much cool stuff when we lived there!

I am hearing... Scooby Doo and thuuuunnnnddder!!!

Around the house... nothing out of the ordinary today. It’s Monday , so I am cleaning the master bathroom. exciting! :-)

One of my favorite things... listening to Marcella and all her new words. She is talking up a storm!

A few plans for the rest of the week... I have a Doctor’s appointment today. The funeral tomorrow. May Day on Friday! Planning something special…..

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
