Well, it was bound to happen!!! Later that day, after she had shed her royal clothes, Al came in from work and said "Is Lilly wearing a necklace?!" Sure enough, I hadn't removed everything!
Best pals!!! That green stuff on the ground isn't spring grass....it's weeds!!!!! Al really has his work cut out for him (no pun intended) with our straggly back yard! He likes nice, neat, weed free, perfect lawns. For now, at least he mowed the weeds...
hahaha. I can't wait for spring planting! I am lost without my fresh herbs. In Florida, of course, they grew year round. Imagine fresh chives, whenever you need them! Spoiled, I was......Anyway, I saw some geraniums at Home Depot last weekend but they looked a bit sad. A couple more weeks and I'll be ready to plant!!! :-) Maybe when we get Madeline's garden going she'll quit planting all the birdseed!

Hope you are having beautiful weather wherever you are!!!

This is my first visit to your blog and I am greatly enjoying it.
We have gotten a few pets from the shelter too. About six years ago I got a cat from there. Here is the link with Cody's picture
