I have a wonderful bunch of cousins on my Daddy's side that I just adore! We always get together for "Cousins' Teas" and fun stuff like that. Our group of cousins are all ages and they are the sweetest group of people. This is the second year of their Cousins' Cookie Exchange and I haven't been able to go to them because I am in Florida. Well, this will be the last year of missing fun family events because we are moving back in 2 weeks!!! :-) Anyway, I decided we would still participate and I sent a package full of homemade candy...rocky road fudge and Texas pecan pralines! It all may have melted because it has been in the 80's here! (blech!) I also sent an ornament for the ornament exchange. (shhhh..it's a Disney Princess one!) I think it is fun to be a part even if we are just there in spirit!
To say Madeline had fun making the fudge is an understatement! :-)
I didn't let her try any of it or lick the spoon!!! hahahahaha!! just kidding of course! Hope you are all enjoying your week of pre-Christmas merriment!!!
