Madeline had her first ballet class last week! After much searching, I found the perfect place to take a class. You see, I have an issue with hip-hop dance and little girls. I don't like it. The local studios have at least some form of it and I just don't want Madeline to even SEE other girls dancing like that! (I know...she will be eventually exposed to things...just not yet!) A friend recommended a Christian dance instructor who teaches classes at a local church and it is just wonderful! They dance to christian music. They do ballet and some free form/praise/worship style dancing, that Madeline just LOVES. At the end of class, the girls all hold hands and pray. It is just a 30 minute class, once a week, $20 a month. I believe it was heaven sent! :-)

I tove the trucks and trains that are abundant at my house but I would have to have a little ballerina too. They are priceless.
