yes, Florida is nice...especially in February when it is 70 degrees out and sunny. People often say to me that we seem to be doing sooo wonderfully here in FL when they read my blog. Well, we are doing good. We are a really close family. HOWEVER, this is not home to us. I miss my family and friends back in Texas. I even find myself missing PA, where we only lived 9 months before moving here. My friends there made me feel so at home. I think they liked my Texas twang! But, like the song says..I wanna go home....and I do!
I found myself last week really longing for fall weather. Fires in the hearth and cozy sweaters...ain't gonna happen here! It almost brought tears my eyes....
Sooooo....I'm just saying that I am not trying to appear as someone I'm not. It's okay here...but it isn't home. Only the Lord knows what the future holds for my sweet family, but we know in our hearts we will eventually come back to our roots! I love you all and miss you so much!

I know what you mean about missing people though. Since my family is now scattered across three states, it is just so different. We all used to live within 10 minutes of each other and now it takes a TON of planning to get together!

We miss ya'll, too. Whenever I tell people about my family, I tell them that my big brother and his family live in Florida, but they eventually would like to come back home to Texas. I'm glad I've been saying the right thing all along. =)
When will you guys be able to come out to visit next? Steven and Erin will be here from around August 30 to September 15th. Can we get the cousins all together at once?
We miss you in Pennsy, too, Kristina. But while the fall weather will be nice for a while I think those of us in the frosty north will be quite jealous of you by the time January and February roll around!
