We really love games at our house and we have a bunch. Card games are a super favorite, too. During the week it is just usually Madeline and I playing while Marcella naps. But when the weekend comes, Daddy joins in! He covers our square coffee table with a green quilt to make it look like a game table. Marcella contributes by trying to eat all the game pieces. This weekend we had quite the thunderstorm and we played games the whole time. This is a good time to teach Madeline to be a good loser....it has been tough on her in the past...she really likes to win! She is getting really good at being a gracious loser, even with her Daddy teasing her! :-)
