A few days back we made a beautiful chicken pot pie from scratch. I usually reserve this recipe for company because it makes such a huge pie that Al would be eating it for lunch for a week! I mean we are talking huge amounts of leftovers here, folks. So, with my folks in town I thought I would make it up. Madeline wanted to roll out the dough for me and she is getting quite good at it! As a special treat I put her initials on top (in dough) and they had disappeared from the table before anyone sat down! :-) I so love to cook from scratch on the weekdays. :-) I'll tell you about my beloved bread maker later!
