We had a great time, once again, in Beavers' Bend, OK. this June (Well, we had a great time until we lost Lilly Kate, but I am going to tell that story in another post) This post is about the fun we had up until then! :-) The girls love the Nature Center at Beaver's Bend National Park. This is Madeline's impression of the eagle she is standing next too....she had us giggling!
The girls love fishing with their dad and this time Marcella got to join in!
Madeline is very particular about her lures (the fish in the little pond just outside our cabin are accustomed to hot dog bits!)

Madeline even let Marcella hold the pole with the fish on it for a bit!
Taking a break after a long 30 minutes of fishing ~ eating homemade chocolate chip cookies.
The girls absolutely delight in the bunk beds in our cabin. Here they are reading a Frog and Toad book with their froggy lantern up on the top bunk. I just really think they are going to remember these times on vacation. These are dear memories we are making and I love every minute of it!
