Last weekend we took the girls on a very special train ride in Grapevine, TX. If you know much about our family, you know the girls love the movie Polar Express! Santa even brought a wooden Polar Express train set one year! We were delighted to find out that such a train ride existed! The children were to wear their jammies just like on the movie.
Here they are ready to go!!!!
Waiting for train there was cute things to keep them occupied! Hot cocoa and ornament making, Frosty and Rudolph! Marcella has a thing for these big characters. She just wants to hug them and stand next to them ~ not afraid a bit! Well, she was a Disney baby after all it must be in her blood! LOL.
Talking with a scary faced santa “helper”!
Almost time! The sun is going down….
They had a pre-show…carols and singing and such. Al looks so cute in this picture! ;-)
forget it! they are look cute! :-) sigh. I love them.
Leaving the station it started to get dark….the whole train was singing Christmas songs. Near the end, when they were playing some of that beautiful music from the movie it seemed almost magical ~very special!
Miss Marcella who had been running around crazy like her sweet 2 year-old self instantly became mesmerized the minute we sat down. She almost never took her eyes off the window.
Until this guy came in!!!! Let me tell you, this was a GOOD Santa!
Happy little girls and a memory that neither of them will forget anytime soon.
Merry Christmas!
