For Today, April 13, 2009...
Outside my window... chilllly and overcast today! Brrrr.
I am thinking... what a wonderful weekend it was. Friday we hiked at a semi-local nature reserve, brunch and egg hunt at my Mom’s on Saturday…church and Easter dinner at our home yesterday. Wonderful!
I am thankful for... having the whole day to relax at home and clean up the house from this weekend.
From the kitchen... nothing new! :-) Putting up/freezing tons of leftovers. A dozen homemade rolls, ham, green beans…lots left…love it!
I am wearing... brown knit capri’s and short sleeve blue shirt. comfy!
I am reading... I just started a new book, but it is not so good. I am going to pass it along on paperbackswap.com.
I am hoping... that I can get that smashed pink marshmallow peep out of the carpet! :-)
I am creating... A small scrapbook of my favorite bible verses to keep on my desk…it’s cute. I may have to share it with you!
I am hearing... silence, Marcella is taking her nap…Madeline is in a time-out!
Around the house... putting away the china, the silver, the crystal, the Easter decorations…sweeping the floor for the hundredth time this week, finding all kinds of Easter grass hidden around the house, using my Spotbot to clean the mud off the carpet that the kids all tracked in yesterday. :-) Oh, and eating leftover coconut cream pie….
One of my favorite things... experiencing Easter again this year and finding it just as meaningful each and every year!
A few plans for the rest of the week... wow…Madeline and I are going to her new school to register her for Kindergarten this week! I start a new bible study this week and that’s about it! yeah!!! I love a quiet week.
