I have Spring Fever!!

Well, folks, it is just such a beautiful day here! I know spring is just around the corner because the pear trees are getting their first tiny little leaves! Madeline and I have been monitoring them along with the tulips that are just about to burst! Our neighborhood has them sprouting up through the pansies at each entrance and scattered throughout the neighborhood. Well, this weather has me opening all the windows and the back door to let the breeze in. This house needs some freshening!! I made my first of the season Strawberry Tea today and I thought I would share it with you.
I just love my tea maker! It is made by Mr. Coffee and is only about $20 at every store in town. I brew fresh tea in it every other day. It is so easy! I use 4 Luzianne family sized tea bags and 2 regular size strawberry ones. I also add 1/2 - 3/4 cup of real sugar to the pot before it brews. You make it with water and ice so that when it is through brewing you have a perfect pot of iced iced tea ready to serve. All ready to go! I bought this adorable glass cozy from Lallee's Cottage on Etsy. Isn't it just precious? I love homemade things, don't you? and my glass just seems so much cuter! :-) She also has a sweet blog that can be found right HERE. If you were here, I would pour you glass and we could go out to the lanai...oops, I mean patio....sometimes I forget what state I'm living in! Have a joyful day!!!!

Oh that looks a lot easier than the way I do it! We always have fresh iced tea around in the warmer months, love it!
Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog! :)
