Hi all! Some of you may know that we have a rough week. Marcella continued to worsen after I posted on Monday and we ended up back in the Doctor's office Tuesday morning. Marcella had been up most of the night before with her horrible coughing and Madeline woke up at midnight with a raging ear infection. The three of us were up, interchangeably, the entire night. (Al was still in Boston) The next morning, I took BOTH sweet peas in to be looked at. Madeline had a double ear infection and Marcella had a very low pulse ox that could not be brought up. It dropped to 91 and we headed to the hospital. I am blessed to have wonderful friends and I was able to drop Madeline off with my friend Alicia and her family, who took such good care of her. Al picked her up at 8:00 when his flight got in. We had a rough night at the hospital...my poor baby! She has RSV again. (she had it before at age 4 months). I had been told that she wouldn't get it for a second time. This is the reason that the breathing treatments, antibiotics, and steroids didn't work. Her Pediatrician just didn't think she could get it again and didn't test for it. She thought it was bronchiolitis. ANYWAY, we are home now and doing much better! Both girls are doing better. The worst is behind us.
You know, I have to say that our Children's Hospital, Arnold Palmer, is just incredible. Doctors who choose pediatrics are a special bunch. They just truly love children and I was just amazed at the outpouring of love and care my baby received. Amazing. God is so good and I must tell you that I strongly felt his presence with me and Marcella during our rough night in that hospital room Tuesday night. We are so blessed...so many very, very sick children at that hospital. I give thanks to the Lord for protecting my Marcella Claire. So , that's it for now....just a quick update! Thank you so much for all who prayed for us. They were certainly answered!
Hope you are all well, my friends!

I am so glad that Marcella is doing better! As soon as I saw your e-mail, I started praying and asked some of my Cyber friends to add her to their daily prayers as well.
If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know!
