A Rather Subdued Halloween....

Well, Halloween at our house wasn't the major excitement that it usually is. In fact, we almost didn't participate at all! Poor Madeline fell ill on Wednesday evening. She had to miss school on Friday and they were having their big Fall Festival. She was disappointed, but not as much as I'd thought she would be! I guess she felt too rotten. She still REALLY wanted to go trunk or treating and her fever had dropped a bunch...so we took her. She really wasn't her usual self and we didn't stay for but an hour. I do think she had a little fun. Never too sick to pose for a picture!
Doesn't she make a sweet monarch? Marcella Claire went as a pink leopard. What a cutie! It was cool in the evening so I was glad her arms were covered.
This red wagon sure comes in handy!
Hmmmm...where to start? The church did an amazing job this year. They had puppets, the praise band, a bunch of games.....it was really nicely put together.
This is one of Madeline's beaus...Ignacio...who has pledged his unwavering devotion to her...isn't he a cutie pie?
Daddy gave Marcella her first candy...a big juicy red lollipop! Boy howdy, did she love it....
I hope y'all had a wonderful, safe Halloween...however you spent it! Now, stay out of the candy! :-)

I just adore both their costumes--so cute--the baby's especially looked so comfy. I am sorry your sweet girl was feeling bad--I hear it is going around---

They are sooo cute in their outfits. Sorry to hear Madeline was sick. At least she got out for a little while that night. I love her Halloween basket - Connor has the same one with his name on it.
