Well, we are headed to Texas tomorrow! In preparation I, sadly, took down my Thanksgiving and autumn decorations. We will be back on the 30th and Christmas will be in full swing! I just know that I will be ready to put up Christmas decorations the minute we get home, and I won't really want to look at pumpkins and turkeys anymore! I also went ahead and put up my Dicken's Village. It takes awhile, so now I am one step ahead when we get back! :-)

Miss Madeline helped me sprinkle the snow! She did a wonderful job. When she was a tiny girl she used to love to look at the twirling dancers in
Fezzwig's Warehouse before she went to bed each night. This morning I saw her lifting her baby sister up so she could see the dancers, too. So sweet! I turned the village on for them this morning because it was still dark outside. We usually get up at 6:30. ;-) I haven't bought any new houses in the last few years, but maybe I will next year. I want to keep it "manageable" :-) Plus, it was easier to justify the expense
pre-children!

I love it and I think it looks magical at night! The church in the center is my favorite piece. Al bought it for me. Its' bells really chime...the girls' love them!

I like that crooked tree, too...
heehee.
We are off to have our family Christmas Portraits done this afternoon...so I hope everyone is
smilin'!
Have a happy weekend!!
