I had my second cake decorating class last evening. It is such fun! This was our first cake. My icing was a bit too watery, but I think it was a good first try. We could practice with whatever design we wanted, so I just used the stars, piping, writing and border. The roses are pretty hard so I need to practice them a bit more. Madeline crept out of her room when she heard me come home and was so excited about the cake....couldn't wait for a taste! She REALLY wants to go the class with me, but I promised her I would teach her everything I learn!

Okay, so now I want some cake, too!! I took the Wilton class several years ago and still decorate cakes every once in a while. DURING the class though, I think I got a little sick of cake (hard to imagine, but true!) although at the time I didn't have little cake lovers to help me eat the class assignments! Your cakes are already beautiful!!
