While down at the beach, Madeline developed a rash on her arms and we weren't sure what it was. I called the concierge and they sent someone to our room immediately to take a look at it. Later, when we returned from the playground, the most beautiful tray from room service was waiting for Madeline. A tin of homemade gourmet cookies and milk (on ice) and flowers. This was compliments of the hotel manager and she sent a personal note wishing Madeline well! When Madeline saw the tray she said "this is for ROYALTY, mommy!" Did you know that they use sterling silver for room service? (yes, I looked at the back) It was so gorgeous. That would be a fun thing to collect...hotel silver....each hotel has their own distinctive type. Now, I don't mean collect it by taking it home in my suitcase, mind you. :-)
