Yeah!!! My sweet husband and girls got me THIS for Mother's Day!!! I have no clue how to even begin sewing! I wish my mom lived here..... :-)
I don't plan on become a seamstress or anything like that but I do really want to be able make my own tablecloths, napkins, pillow cases for the girls and other cute things. My combination guest/scrapbooking/gift-wrapping/crafting room just became the guest/scrapbooking/gift-wrapping/crafting/sewing room!

THIS was the mystery gift that Al and Madeline made at Daddy's Dessert. I just love it!!! This years' card was extra special to me because Madeline wrote all of it herself.

Hooray for a new sewing machine!
Fun! I am learning to sew on my grandmother's old machine. It's fun, IF I try to remember to just enjoy the process and not worry about it all looking perfect. It's also best if I'm not in a hurry and no one is crying. Enjoy!
