Madeline's preschool had a fun event Thursday night called Daddy's Dessert. They worked on a "mystery project" that the moms were not let in on! Even the invitation that the kids brought home said "no mom's allowed!" :-) cute stuff. So to make it like a real father/daughter date, Al came home early and surprised Madeline by taking her to her favorite restaurant, just the two of them, prior to the event. Madeline was very excited and thought a great deal about which dress to wear and made sure to put on some of her special strawberry perfume that she seems to reserve for special occasions. They had a great time!

I just have to tell you - that I love visiting your blog. It is always so heart warming. You give me good ideas to pass on to Eric for his time with Grace Anne. That daddy/daughter time is important isn't it?
