After dinner one night last week , Madeline announced that she "REALLY wanted to make apple cookies tomorrow"! Not to be one to stifle her creativity, I set about to find a recipe. I had really never even heard of apple cookies. I found one on allrecipes.com and we set about baking them up the next morning. Marcella Claire was taking her morning nap, but we made it up to her later by letting her have the first taste, fresh from the oven.
Madeline got the first lick, though. And the second,third, etc.
Success! Everyone enjoyed them and we have a new recipe to put in our binder.
