Canoeing trip adventure!

We took a family canoe trip at a local lake while our relatives were in town. We were warned that Alligators were prevalent in the area and to take precautions. I was nervous about Madeline going but Al told me it would be fine. I have complete faith in him and his skills. He used to camp and hike in the Alaskan wilderness when he was in the Navy!
Madeline was so excited and not scared one bit. Marcella stayed up on the shore with her Aunt Yvonne.

Isn't he cute? I sat at the bottom of the canoe because I was so afraid of falling in!

This guy was huge! We also saw another one gliding gracefully through the water. He was even bigger! Don't worry....no children were at risk during this trip, okay? Perfectly safe, ahem!

See...we all arrived safe and sound. What fun!
